Graeme from GMan the PC Man has been excited about Computers and Information Technology since the early 90’s, with a particular interest in building, upgrading and configuring PC and server (Windows and Linux based) systems.
Building stuff and then making it work seems to be it’s own reward.
This passion crossed over into a related career in the early to mid noughties, with a successful stint as a computer based Garden Designer.
Information Technology became a real career in 2006 with a contract for a leading mid sized Not For Profit organisation in South East Melbourne, doing exactly the above- building IT stuff and making it work.
By 2008 this contract became the full time role of ICT Support Officer, encompassing a highly dynamic period until 2013 where the organisation grew from 30 people to over 120.
Further invaluable industry experience was gathered from 2015 to 2019 in the role of IT Support Specialist at a wordwide Not For Profit organisation’s Australian National Office in Southbank.
In both roles all ICT equipment- PC’s, laptops, printers, servers, switches, wireless routers, modems, firewalls, phones, mobile phones tablets, laptops, etc, were kept running, and the organisations hummed along.
You name it and it was fixed and maintained!
The ever changing staff members were also kept on track with their IT issues- successfully explaining resolutions and offering training for their IT problems in plain English.
All this experience naturally is of direct benefit to GMan the PC Man, but also to you, GMan’s highly valued client base.
GMan the PC Man is now based in Menzies Creek in the Dandenong Ranges, after a long stint in the Metropolitan Melbourne.
